We regret to inform you that the unit for the Deaf-blind children at Maseno School of the Deaf burnt down in February 2014. Austine Otieno is one of the teachers at this school and teaches there almost every day. Everyone is still very shocked!

It is not quite clear yet, how this could happen. Fortunately, the students and the teachers are all well. But the classrooms and dormitories and a lot of the teaching materials were destroyed by the flames.

Kids of Maseno e.V. wants to support the reconstruction of the facilities so that the students can move back to their dormitories and do not miss too much of their classes.
