This month was full of many great activities!
Luisa Dreke, the new intern, came to Maseno to do an internship at our project and school. She did a great job in supporting us with office work, translating learning materials from German to English, and teaching Deaf and Deafblind children. Luisa was very cooperative. Thanks to Kids of Maseno Germany for sending such wonderful interns. It is always a great experience. She finished her internship in March after one and a half months. Continue reading
Call for Donations!
We regret to inform you that the unit for the Deaf-blind children at Maseno School of the Deaf burnt down in February 2014. Austine Otieno is one of the teachers at this school and teaches there almost every day. Everyone is still very shocked!
It is not quite clear yet, how this could happen. Fortunately, the students and the teachers are all well. But the classrooms and dormitories and a lot of the teaching materials were destroyed by the flames. Continue reading

Dear Sir or Madam, members and supporters of Kids of Maseno e.V.,
The team of Kids of Maseno e.V. in Germany as well as our partners in Kenya have been very busy throughout the year 2013. By many small steps and with steadfast courage we are approaching our target to support Deaf and Deafblind children with their schooling. We would like to thank our supporters and members for their conceptual and financial support and wish them all the best for 2014!
